Family Planning

The Family Planning program offers women support with:

  • Planning when to have children.
  • Reducing unintended pregnancies.
  • Determining effective birth control methods.

 

Services include:

  • Family planning counseling and education
  • Preconception counseling
  • Birth control supplies
  • Pregnancy testing
  • Emergency contraception (known as “Plan B”)
  • Physical exams
  • Pap tests (if needed)
  • Clinical breast exams
  • Testing for sexually transmitted infections (STIs)
  • HIV counseling and testing

 

The cost of services is on a sliding fee scale based on income and family size. There is no cost for clients ages 19 and under. We accept Medicaid and most insurance plans.

Appointments are preferred. Walk-ins are welcome.

 

Free Condoms

At health centers and the community:

 

Condom kits by mail:

We mail free, discreetly packaged kits containing condoms of mixed sizes, a tube of lubricant, and dental dams.

To receive a kit, you must:

  • Live in DeKalb County
  • Provide a street address (No P.O. boxes please.)

 

Please note:

  • You can order a maximum of two kits in a 30-day period
  • If you live in Georgia but not in DeKalb County, click here.
