Immunizations

We offer a wide variety of immunizations for all ages, including those required to attend child care or school. Appointments are preferred. Walk-ins are welcome.

Vaccines for international travel are also available. Appointments are required.

Routine Vaccines

The following routine vaccines are available:

  • Hepatitis A (Hep A)
  • Hepatitis B (Hep B)
  • Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib)
  • Human papillomavirus (HPV)
  • Inactivated poliovirus (IPV)
  • Influenza (Seasonal flu)
  • Measles-mumps-rubella (MMR)
  • Meningococcal B (MenB)
  • Meningococcal conjugate vaccine (MCV4 or MenACWY)
  • Mpox
  • Pertussis (Whooping cough)
  • Pneumococcal conjugate
  • Rabies
  • Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) 
  • Rotavirus
  • Shingles (Herpes zoster)
  • Tetanus
  • Tetanus-diphtheria-acellular pertussis (Tdap)
  • Varicella (Chickenpox)

Vaccine Programs

Children: Free vaccines are available for children ages 18 and under through these two programs:

  • PeachCare for Kids (Georgia’s Children’s Health Insurance Program)
  • Vaccines for Children
    • The child must meet at least one of these criteria:
      • Enrolled in Medicaid.
      • Has no health insurance coverage.
      • Has health insurance but immunizations are not covered.
      • American Indian or Alaska Native.
    • Eligibility is determined at the time of service.

Due to today’s worldwide cybersecurity outage, some services have been impacted.

  • You may experience delays reaching our Call Center, which handles health center appointments.
  • WIC benefit issuance is unavailable at this time. However, eWIC cards can still be used at authorized WIC vendors.


This outage has not only affected DeKalb Public Health, but other government and business services, in Georgia, throughout the nation and internationally.
