What is iHeard?
iHeard Atlanta is a community-focused initiative, led by DeKalb Public Health, to build health knowledge by listening to community members’ voices. The initiative aims to increase knowledge and trust in science by sharing timely, accurate information through trusted messengers, community partners, email and social media.
This research project uses a community-based participatory approach and is funded by the National Institutes of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. iHeard Atlanta expands the successful iHeard St. Louis model to the metro Atlanta area.
